Michael joined Janet Moyer Landscaping in 1992, after almost twenty years working in information systems. He holds a Master's degree in management and has had extensive experience in managing businesses and organizations.
During his long tenure at Janet Moyer Landscaping, Michael has studied widely in
landscaping, attending seminars in horticulture, pest control, construction and
arboriculture. He has earned several professional licenses, including a California
landscape contractor's license, a Caliornia pest control license, and a Certified Arborist designation from the International Society of Arboriculture.
Michael has installed over 350 landscapes since 1992, fulfilling Janet's designs. His installation work has included demolition, site preparation, layout, wood construction, stone construction, drainage installation, irrigation, lighting, water feature installation and installation of large and small plants.
For inspiration in landscaping and innovative construction and installation techniques,
Michael has traveled to over 40 countries to attend meetings and seminars, visit
botanical gardens, and explore resorts and other specialty sites.
